We, "Youmec", were established in Yokohama in 1991 and have been engaged in business activities centered on the design and manufacture of progressive press dies and the production of precision press parts. We will continue to pass on the technical capabilities and know-how we have cultivated, and strive to further improve our technical capabilities and the quality of our services in order to gain the satisfaction and trust of our customers.
Progressive die manufacturing for press working is considered to be one of the most difficult areas of press working, and the electronic component connectors that our company specializes in are classified as the most difficult. Furthermore, the cost of manufacturing dies is also considered to be high. However, with the emergence of high-performance NC machine tools and sophisticated CAD/CAM systems, our die manufacturing methods have evolved, which has naturally contributed to reducing the cost and time required to manufacture progressive dies.
The speed of technological development by our customers (manufacturers) is accelerating year by year, and the product quality demands we make of our company are becoming increasingly stringent. We are reaching a level where processing is considered difficult using conventional manufacturing and processing methods. However, our raison d'être is to quickly respond to and realize our customers' demands, and we believe this will lead to greater competitiveness.
